Virginie Massing – Training

Well, at my age (turning 45 in May) losing a pound or two is not as easy as it used to be 10 or 20 years ago. I am or I have become a health freak to say the least. I know how MY body operates and I make the proper changes to stay the way it is… or close to it. Sacrificing for better result is not that bad LOL

YES…. Eating healthy helps a lot and like I tell my friends “Don’t put it down until you try it.” It’s amazing how good food can taste soooo good. It’s just on how you cook it. A good breakfast and big lunch is my way of eating. Light dinner (most veggies) is what ends my day. I do have my weekends to be more opens to rules because I don’t believe in cravings but more so in portions.

I am a single mother who works 9 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week so depending on the time of year, my “training” changes which maybe why I’m still faithful to stay fit… I am not bored by it LOL. I do not have a gym membership. I am pretty much one person operation. I do own a treadmill, stationary spin bike, elliptical, weight bench, training ball, weights, a nice Fuji bicycle, and of course my DVDs. In the winter I workout 5 to 6 days of week. Each day I do something different. One day Treadmill, Cardio DVD, Elliptical, Weight DVD, etc…. Trying to make it fun. When Spring time comes, I start walking at lunch every day of the week when permitted and do 15- 30 minutes of stretching at work with light weights. I stretch every day at least 2 times a day. I love to be outside so anything related to pushing a lawnmower, wash the truck, sweep, etc… I do it.

Another thing I do every day for the past 5 years is reading positive quotes or sayings. I figure that a positive mind will bring a positive attitude which will bring a better outlook when it’s time to get my lazy mind for a workout LOL.
