The AGV Pista GP R Soleluna Helmet features a similar geometric “Soleluna” (sun-and-moon) design to the one Valentino Rossi wore in 2016.

Developed with the help of Valentino Rossi and other professional motorcycle racers, the Pista GP R is the top race helmet made by AGV. Both lightweight and durable, this helmet offers professional, race-quality protection.

The shell of the Pista GP R is made entirely out of durable carbon fiber. A special Visor Lock System (VLS) prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash. To unlock the visor, you simply push a button.

This helmet includes a clear class optic 1 visor with 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 anti-fog technology that is tear-off ready. A tear-off kit is also included.

The ventilation system built into this helmet is top-of-the-line with 5 large front metal air vents and 2 rear extractors, allowing cool air to enter the helmet and hot air to exit the back. Working along with the external vents is the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS). The IVS consists of hollowed out air ducts and vents that direct air to flow to the rider’s head.

The new “Biplano” spoiler on the Pista GP R has multiple wings for better aerodynamics and stability.

The cheek pads and liner have sanitized antibacterial protection, as well as “2Dry” moisture wicking and Microsense treatment. Small, removable disks help to shape the interior specifically to each rider’s head. The interior is completely removable and washable.

New and exclusive to the Pista GP R is AGV’s integrated hydration system. Included is a Camelbak Big Bite Valve. The hydration system is removable if you prefer not to use it.

AGV SportModular Carbon Tricolore Helmet

New for 2018, the AGV SportModular Carbon Tricolore Helmet is the first modular helmet on the market made entirely of carbon fiber. The SportModular features an integrated anti-scratch inner sun shield.

This helmet includes a GT3 face shield that’s ready for an anti-fog 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 lens. A tear-off kit is also included. AGV’s Visor Lock System (VLS) prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash.

The ventilation system built into this helmet includes a large front vent, chin guard vent, and rear extractor.

This helmet has an adjustable spoiler for stability.

The cheek pads have sanitized antibacterial protection, as well as “2Dry” moisture wicking and Microsense treatment. A reversible helmet liner allows you to select either a warm or cool side.

The SportModular has a Titanium Double D retention system that’s 43% lighter than the standard steel system.

AGV Corsa R V46 Matte Black Helmet

The AGV Corsa R V46 Matte Black Helmet is very similar to the AGV Pista GP R, but features a tri-composite shell made up of carbon fiber, aramid, and fiberglass.

AGV Corsa R V46 Matte Black Helmet – MSRP $999.95

MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi’s distinct number 46 logo is found on the top and both sides of the helmet.

The Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) consists of air ducts that are built into the Corsa R, directing cool air to the rider’s head. Unlike the Pista GP R, the Corsa R’s forehead vents open and close, allowing you to change their position on the fly. Exhaust vents on the back allow hot, moist air to escape.

The rear spoiler helps to reduce drag and improves the aerodynamics.

A dual-purpose shield locking system prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash. The new visor is up to 5mm thick, offers 85° vertical/190° horizontal view, and is class 1 optical standard.

The Corsa R has a new reversible helmet liner that allows you to select either a warm or cool side.

A Max Vision Pinlock Insert Lens, tear-offs, removable nose guard, and wind deflector are all included with this helmet.

Every year at Mugello, Valentino Rossi sports a new helmet designed by friend and artist Aldo Drudi. The AGV Pista GP R Mugello 2017 Helmet is a must-have for any Rossi fan.

AGV Pista GP R Mugello 2017 Helmet – MSRP $1,599.95

The AGV Pista GP R Mugello 2017 graphic features Rossi as a soccer player saying “Shall I chip…” in Italian on the top of the helmet. This and “One captain…there is only one captain!” on the back of the helmet are tributes to retired Italian soccer legend and Rossi’s friend Francesco Totti. The sides of the helmet pay tribute to MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden with “469” – Rossi’s number 46 blended into the 69 of Hayden. On the front of the helmet below the chin vent is Rossi’s signature.

AGV K-3 SV Tartaruga Helmet

The AGV K-3 SV Tartaruga Helmet features a large turtle graphic on the top, as well as Valentino Rossi’s signature below the chin vent. Rossi’s number 46 is centered on the back. As with all of Rossi’s helmets, his dogs Cesare and Camilla are represented on the back.

The shell of the K-3 SV is made out of High Resistant ThermoPlastic Resin (HIR-TH). This helmet includes a GT 2 visor that is scratch resistant, anti-fog, and provides 100% protection against UV rays. An anti-fog, scratch-resistant, internal sun visor is also included.

AGV Pista GP: Aerodynamics

The air wing on the Pista reduces the downward force by 44%, drastically decreasing the lift effects of riding in the race-tuck position. It was designed to be removable and break off in a crash (prevents the helmet from catching).

AGV Pista GP: Interior

Inside of the helmet you’ll find a neoprene neck roll, designed for added comfort. The crown and cheek pads are multi-density to eliminate hot spots. Small, removable disks help to shape the interior specifically to each rider’s head. The interior is micro-perforated to help with ventilation and wicking away moisture. It is also completely removable and washable.
