The Bell Star MIPS Torsion Helmet features a Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). MIPS is a new technology from Bell that is designed to reduce rotational forces in the case of a crash.

Constructed from a mixture of Aramid, carbon fiber, and fiberglass, the Bell Star is a lightweight and durable helmet.

Ventilation

Intake and exhaust vents work together to allow fresh air in and remove hot, moist air.

This helmet comes with a clear Panovision shield. Bell’s Panovision incorporates larger viewports that allow you to see more while doing head-checks, lane changes, or searching for obstacles. The center shield mechanism makes opening and closing the shield easy while riding.

Interior

The Star’s cheek pads and comfort liner incorporate Bell’s X-Static and XT-2 materials, which are moisture wicking and antimicrobial.

The Bell Star MIPS Torsion Helmet is Snell M2015, DOT, and ECE 22.05 approved.

Bell Star Isle Of Man Helmet

The Bell Star Isle Of Man Helmet features a black and yellow color scheme with a checkered flag pattern and “Real Road Racing” on both sides. The lower sides and top of the helmet have the signature Isle of Man TT triskelion, which is also found on the Isle of Man’s flag. On the sides and back of the helmet are outlines of four different road racing courses.

Six intake and eight exhaust vents work together to allow for the same great airflow as the previous version, with less outside noise. Together, the multi-position chin vent and removable vent plug allow you to adjust the airflow to aim towards either the shield or your face.

Bell Star Carbon SBK Laguna Seca Limited Edition Helmet

The FIM World Superbike Championship made a stop at Laguna Seca this year and Bell was ready for the occasion. They teamed up with the California-based designers at Airtrix to create a special edition of their Star Carbon helmet. The Bell Star Carbon SBK limited edition features a combination of US and California flag motifs, as well as logos from the Eni SIM Superbike World Championship. The design also has plenty of clear coat between the logos and paint in order to show off the raw carbon shell underneath. Bell also includes a clear shield with an outline of Laguna Seca over the base plate on each side.
