The Neotec II is a complete overhaul of the original Neotec. It features an all-new aerodynamic design and interior resulting in an incredibly quiet helmet. Now it’s available in the new Excursion graphic.

Shoei Neotec II Excursion Modular Helmet – MSRP $799.00

This modular helmet gives you the convenience of an open-face helmet with the safety of a full-face helmet. In addition to a multi-position face shield, this helmet has a QSV-1 sun shield built in. It also comes equipped with a Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system.

Shoei’s Neotec II has a high-quality ventilation system to provide maximum comfort. The expanded 3-position upper air intake vent allows air in while the all-new exhaust outlets expel unwanted warm air. Additional ventilation is found on the inside of the helmet, with several funnels built right into the EPS.

The interior of this helmet is completely removable, replaceable, and washable. The Neotec II incorporates Shoei’s new ‘Noise Isolator’ cheek pads, which deflect wind and reduce unwanted noise.

The Sena SRL Communication System (sold separately) was created specifically for the Shoei Neotec II Modular Helmet.

This helmet has a patent-pending 100% stainless steel interlocking mechanism, making putting on and removing the helmet quick and easy.

AGV SportModular Carbon Tricolore Helmet

New for 2018, the AGV SportModular Carbon Tricolore Helmet is the first modular helmet on the market made entirely of carbon fiber. The SportModular features an integrated anti-scratch inner sun shield.

This helmet includes a GT3 face shield that’s ready for an anti-fog 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 lens. A tear-off kit is also included. AGV’s Visor Lock System (VLS) prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash.

The ventilation system built into this helmet includes a large front vent, chin guard vent, and rear extractor.

This helmet has an adjustable spoiler for stability.

The cheek pads have sanitized antibacterial protection, as well as “2Dry” moisture wicking and Microsense treatment. A reversible helmet liner allows you to select either a warm or cool side.

The SportModular has a Titanium Double D retention system that’s 43% lighter than the standard steel system.

Ventilation

Shield

Interior

Nolan N104 Modular Helmet

Replacing the Nolan N103, arguably one of the better modular helmet options available, is no easy task. We believe Nolanhas achieved this by improving on the N103 with the Nolan N104 Modular Helmet. Thinner, lighter, aerodynamic, and better optics are only a few of the improvements Nolan has put into this new helmet.

Modular helmets are a bit heavier to begin with, however with an all new shell that is just under 4 lbs for a size large, the N104 is helmet noticeably lighter than the N103. Two shell sizes, comprised of injected polycarbonate GE Lexan, encompass the complete size range with one shell for 2XS-LG, and the other for XL-3XL.

The inner shield mechanism is all new and much easier to use. A single slide to lower the inner dark smoke shield and a push button release to retract the shield back into the shell.

To lift the chinbar, Nolan has implemented a two-step process to prevent accidental opening. To release it, pull the red lower lip out, which triggers a small, red, recessed tab that is squeezed while holding the lower one and lift. The chinbar locks into place making it a legal 3/4 helmet while riding at speed. Nolan has designed the helmet so that it is still aerodynamically efficient even with the chin bar in the upright position, ensuring a comfortable ride no matter what mode you have the helmet in.

Nolan has increased the overall eyeport area and included a Pinlock ready shield along with a Pinlock fog-free insert.

HJC RPHA Max Align Modular Helmet

The RPHA Max is HJC’s modular release in their RPHA lineup. The RPHA, Revolutionary Performance Helmet Advantage, includes premium features developed by racers and on track for the ultimate helmet by HJC. Similar to their RPHA 10, the HJC RPHA Max is extremely aerodynamic design giving the RPHA Max the look of a full-face sportbike helmet. HJC also includes a 3D Anti Scratch Shield and Pinlock 100% Max Vision shield with insert.

A single finger operation lifts the front of the helmet and falls into a detent keeping it in place while in the up position.

An extremely quiet helmet, developed in HJC’s wind tunnel at high speeds to mitigate wind noise claiming only 85dB at 62.5 mph. An all new “Cool4Ever” interior uses revolutionary technology keeping you cool on the hottest of days with a lightweight, moisture-wicking, odor-free, and anti-bacterial liner. The RPHA Max also easily accept eyeglasses frames.

A 3-position inner sun shield drops down with a push button spring release.

Available from Riders Discount, the fit is true to size however the shape is not the ordinary HJC intermediate-oval. The RPHA Max would be more of a neutral/intermediate-oval with a bit more room on the sides.

Bell Revolver Evo Modular Helmet

Bell has taken their popular Revolver lid from 2011 and given it a makeover, fixing the common issues. With the new Bell Revolver Evo Modular Helmet available from Riders Discount, you’ll find a quieter helmet, a more efficient helmet, and a much improved inner shield, you’re sure to enjoy this helmet offered by Bell. Features such a better eyeport gasket greatly reducing wind seepage and internal noise, and a new chin curtain has been added to eliminate cold air coming in from underneath and helps to reduce wind noise as well. The inner face shield mechanism is also much easier to use. A single button drops the inner sun shield down and a push button spring release retracts it back in place.

The inner shield mechanism is large enough to be used easily with gloves on and maintain throttle control.

To raise the chin bar, simply push the latch to release the chin bar and lift.
