The Shoei X-Fourteen Marquez 5 Helmet has a red, white and blue color scheme, featuring Marquez’s signature ant logo on the top and number 93 on both sides as well as the back. A red and black ‘maze’ pattern wraps around the helmet.

The X-Fourteen has several new features that make it even better than the X-Twelve. The shell shape has been redesigned to improve the aerodynamics of the helmet, including a brand new, patent-pending Rear Stabilizer. The Rear Stabilizer works to “maximize high-speed stability while reducing negative forces on the rider.” You will experience 50% less buffeting, 10% less drag, and a 3% lift reduction with the X-Fourteen.

You can customize the aerodynamics by switching out the standard rear flaps with narrower ones (sold separately). Shoei takes the customization a step further by incorporating an innovative five-stage rotating dial that allows you to fine-tune the shield and base plate.

The X-Fourteen’s ventilation system has received several upgrades. Now the cheek pads have a cooling “tube” that allows fresh air to enter the helmet, cooling the rider’s cheek area. The side air outlets of the helmet have been re-positioned to better allow hot, moist air to leave the helmet. Overall, the X-Fourteen has six air intakes and six exhaust outlets.

A few changes have been made to the face shield and shield locking mechanism. First, the CWR-F Race Shield (equipped with Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system) has innovative new ribs on the edges to help eliminate bending. The X-Fourteen now has a double shield locking mechanism, designed to prevent unwanted shield openings while riding. The QR-E Base Plate System on this helmet not only makes changing shields easy but also blocks out unwanted water and wind when closed.

The X-Fourteen’s 6-layer AIM+ shell construction and multi-layer EPS work together to redirect impact energy in the case of a crash. An Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) is built into the helmet to allow medical personnel to safely remove the cheek pads and helmet from an injured rider’s head.

The 3D Max-Dry Interior is customizable with optional sizes for each section of the center pad. Made of Max-Dry material, the inside “absorbs and dissipates sweat twice as fast as tradition nylon.” The interior is completely removable, washable, replaceable and adjustable.

Developed with the help of Valentino Rossi and other professional motorcycle racers, the Pista GP R is the top race helmet made by AGV. Both lightweight and durable, this helmet offers professional, race-quality protection.

The shell of the Pista GP R is made entirely out of durable carbon fiber. A special Visor Lock System (VLS) prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash. To unlock the visor, you simply push a button.

This helmet includes a clear class optic 1 visor with 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 anti-fog technology that is tear-off ready. A tear-off kit is also included.

The ventilation system built into this helmet is top-of-the-line with 5 large front metal air vents and 2 rear extractors, allowing cool air to enter the helmet and hot air to exit the back. Working along with the external vents is the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS). The IVS consists of hollowed out air ducts and vents that direct air to flow to the rider’s head.

The new “Biplano” spoiler on the Pista GP R has multiple wings for better aerodynamics and stability.

The cheek pads and liner have sanitized antibacterial protection, as well as “2Dry” moisture wicking and Microsense treatment. Small, removable disks help to shape the interior specifically to each rider’s head. The interior is completely removable and washable.

New and exclusive to the Pista GP R is AGV’s integrated hydration system. Included is a Camelbak Big Bite Valve. The hydration system is removable if you prefer not to use it.

Made of microfiber and synthetic leather, the Supertech R is both light and durable. A new front flex area made up of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and mesh provides a more breathable and comfortable fit. This new construction is more abrasion resistant than the original version.

The sole of the boot is made out of lightweight rubber that is flexible for when the rider changes positions. Additionally, the boot contains a replaceable, co-injected TPU/aluminum toe slider for added toe protection. The protective polymer heel plate slider is also replaceable.

The Supertech R has accordion microfiber stretch in both the Achilles and the top of the boot, making it easy to put on and take off. The boot is equipped with both a TPU zipper and a Velcro tab to ensure the boot stays closed during use. It also features a micro-adjustable ratchet top closure for a safe and precise fit.

A completely removable inner ankle brace provides protection to the side and back of the foot. 3D mesh material wicks moisture, keeping feet cool and dry.

These boots are CE certified to EN 13634:2010 standards.

The AGV Pista GP R Mugello 2017 graphic features Rossi as a soccer player saying “Shall I chip…” in Italian on the top of the helmet. This and “One captain…there is only one captain!” on the back of the helmet are tributes to retired Italian soccer legend and Rossi’s friend Francesco Totti. The sides of the helmet pay tribute to MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden with “469” – Rossi’s number 46 blended into the 69 of Hayden. On the front of the helmet below the chin vent is Rossi’s signature.

Arai Corsair-X Nicky-7 Helmet

The Arai Corsair-X Nicky-7 Helmet was designed to commemorate MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden. The Nicky-7 graphic has a striking red, white, and blue American Flag-style design. The back of the helmet features the “Made In USA” logo that Hayden wore on his helmet during the first five rounds of the 2017 World Superbike season. With all of the features of the Corsair-X and this special graphic, the Nicky-7 is a truly spectacular helmet.

Construction

The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. In fact, it is 30% lighter than the Corsair-V. This is greatly attributed to the synthetic fibers and special resin formula that Arai has developed. Arai has not abandoned their special R75 shell shape, however. A lightweight, aerodynamic, and protective helmet is very sought after by racers, and Arai certainly has delivered.

Ventilation

One of the biggest changes with this helmet is the upgraded ventilation system. The top/center vent allows around 11% more airflow than the Corsair-V did. All of the vents on the new Corsair-X are easier to adjust with gloves, as well as more durable and longer.

Another significant change is the new “Variable Axis System” (VAS). The VAS has a variable axis (moving pivot point) allowing the shield to open and close, even with the 24mm lower shield mount position.

Interior

The interior of the Corsair-X not only provides protection and comfort but also does a great job keeping you cool. The plush lining in combination with the ventilation system wicks sweat away and helps keep you at a comfortable temperature. The interior is made of Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to the human skin and antibacterial consumption.

5mm peel away ear pockets on the Corsair-X allow riders room for a communication system. Per customers’ requests, Arai lowered the chin bar by 3mm for extra comfort (great for riders that use a microphone) and upgraded the chin curtain and neck roll to help block out unwanted noise and help improve ventilation.

The Corsair-X comes with a VAS V MV Shield, which is a clear anti-fog Pinlock shield. There are several tinted shield options available for purchase as well.

The Arai Corsair-X is both 2015 Snell and DOT certified.

The AGV Limited Edition Corsa R Mugello 2016 Helmet is bright yellow and features the word “Mugiallo” (Giallo means yellow in Italian) around the top of the helmet. On the front below the chin vent is Rossi’s signature. Rossi’s number 46 is centered on the back along with cartoon pictures of his dogs Cesare and Camilla, and cat Rossano.

The AGV Corsa R is very similar to the Pista GP R, but features a tri-composite shell made up of carbon fiber, aramid, and fiberglass.

Ventilation

The Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) consists of air ducts that are built into the Corsa R, directing cool air to the rider’s head. Unlike the Pista GP R, the Corsa R’s forehead vents open and close, allowing you to change their position on the fly. Exhaust vents on the back allow hot, moist air to leave the helmet.

The rear spoiler helps to reduce drag and make the helmet more aerodynamic.

Visor

A dual-purpose shield locking system prevents the visor from accidentally opening in the case of a crash. The new visor is up to 5mm thick (most are 3mm), offers 85° vertical/190° horizontal view, and is class 1 optical standard.

The Corsa R has a new reversible helmet liner that allows you to select either a warm or cool side.

A Max Vision Pinlock Insert Lens, removable nose guard, and wind deflector are included with the Corsa R.
