A feature that makes the Nolan N91 different than most modular helmets is that it includes a built-in sun visor. Additionally, a clear Pinlock face shield and lens is included with this helmet.

The Nolan N91 has a different shell shape and vent configuration compared to the N90: its rear vent is larger and the top vent is now adjustable. The shell is constructed of strong polycarbonates.
