The shell of the K-3 SV is made out of High Resistant ThermoPlastic Resin (HIR-TH). This helmet includes a GT 2 visor that is scratch resistant, anti-fog, and provides 100% protection against UV rays. An anti-fog, scratch-resistant, internal sun visor is also included.

The ventilation system built into this helmet is top of the line, offering 193% more airflow than its predecessor. It has 4 front vents (3 at the front and one on the chin guard) and 2 rear extractors, allowing cool air to enter the helmet and hot air to exit the back. Working along with the external vents is the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS). The IVS consists of hollowed out air ducts and vents that direct air to flow to the rider’s head.

AGV Pista GP: Aerodynamics

The air wing on the Pista reduces the downward force by 44%, drastically decreasing the lift effects of riding in the race-tuck position. It was designed to be removable and break off in a crash (prevents the helmet from catching).

AGV Pista GP: Interior

Inside of the helmet you’ll find a neoprene neck roll, designed for added comfort. The crown and cheek pads are multi-density to eliminate hot spots. Small, removable disks help to shape the interior specifically to each rider’s head. The interior is micro-perforated to help with ventilation and wicking away moisture. It is also completely removable and washable.

The Rossi Misano 2015 Shark helmet features a large shark and yellow fish graphic on the top of the helmet that represents Rossi being chased. The Italian words “Via Via Via!” are on both sides of the helmet, which translates to “Get Away Get Away Get Away!” in English. Rossi’s number 46 is centered on the back. As with all of Rossi’s helmets, his dogs Cesare and Camilla, and cat Rossano are represented (sporting underwater snorkels and goggles, no less) on the back of this helmet.

Unlike the Pista GP, the Corsa’s forehead vents open and close, allowing you to change their position on the fly.

The Rossi Mugello 2015 helmet features a unique mirror silver base color with a blue “solar panel” pattern that wraps the bottom half. The rear graphic represents the six different energy levels Rossi experiences in a race weekend, from the first free practice to the final race. The Italian words Energia Rinnovabile (“Renewable Energy”) are on the right side of the helmet, and “Yellow Energy” are on the left. A recycling symbol surrounds Rossi’s number 46 on the back right side.
