“There were a lot of disappointing results today but Taylor really shone through running as high as 2nd and finishing just off the podium in the SuperBike class. Cory is banged up and will try to ride in Race 2 and Joey and Jake will be trying to move forward from their results today.”

“I’m having an incredible weekend so far at New Jersey Motorsports Park. I didn’t really do a very good job in qualifying 1 so our plan today was to get out by our self and get clear track so I could do my own thing. That worked out pretty good and starting on the second row was a really important key in my result today. In the race I got at good start I think I even passed some guys on the first row. I got into 3rd and the pace wasn’t very fast I was pretty calm and decided to try and conserve my tire. I was pretty strong on the brakes into turn 1 and that is where I planned on making my pass but I just didn’t have the hp to get next to him on the straight away. In the last four laps I just lost a little grip and not having any proper electronics or any traction control may have hurt me a little in the last few laps. All and all it was my best superbike finish ever for me. I’m pretty happy my bike( the old girl) did well for me today I really need to thank K&L Supply and Riders Discount for making these last few rounds a possibility. Hopefully I can do one place better for them tomorrow.”

“I was really pumped after getting a second row start for the race. My start was good and I was up to 6th and on the tail of the leading pack. Going into turn one on the second lap I got cleaned out by an over zealous rider in the braking zone and I hit the ground at almost 150mph. I’m happy to walk away without serious injury and I will do my best to bring home a respectable finish tomorrow.”
Joey Pascarella – Riders Discount Vesrah Suzuki #52
“Yesterday was a rough day for me. But for Sunday we have made some changes to the bike all around so hopefully it will work better.”
Jake Lewis – Riders Discount Vesrah Suzuki #85
“Today’s race definitely didn’t go to plan as we’ve been struggling all weekend. I’m not comfortable on the bike and we can’t seem to find a good set-up that works. It was my worst finish of the season so I’m looking to get up there in the fight tomorrow after we make some big changes to the bike.”
