The Youth GP Plus Cup Leather Suit incorporates polyamide stretch panels on the arms, crotch, and chest for flexibility and comfort. This suit is equipped with leather accordion stretch panels for better mobility and performance.

This suit incorporates internal elbow, shoulder, knee, and tibia protectors. External polymer shoulder protectors and replaceable PU sport knee sliders offer additional protection. The inside chest, hip, and coccyx areas come equipped with PE comfort padding. If you’re looking for more protection, the Nucleon KR-Y Youth Back Protector is compatible and sold separately.

The built-in aerodynamic back hump is sculpted for increased airflow.

Inside of this suit is a removable mesh liner for ventilation and comfort.

The Dainese D-Air Racing Mugello Suit is Dainese’s top-of-the-line suit equipped with the D-Air airbag system. D-Air utilizes Dainese’s intelligent protection system to determine when to inflate the airbag (high side or low side).

The Dainese D-Air system consists of the following:

Electronic System – triggering algorithm and diagnostics managed by dedicated firmware; three accelerometers; three gyroscopes; a GPS; 2 GB internal memory; user interface (LED); lithium polymer battery.

Pneumatic System – Dainese-patented 3D structure airbag; high-pressure airbag with a volume of 4 liters; “cold” technology gas generator.

When activated, the airbag provides extra protection to the collarbones, shoulders, and neck.

In addition to providing protection, the D-Air system built into this suit also collects data (lap times, max speed, etc.) allowing you to evaluate your performance on the track.

The Mugello suit is constructed from 100% kangaroo leather, making it lightweight yet extremely abrasion resistant. Localized perforation throughout the suit allows for excellent ventilation.

The Mugello incorporates a tri-axial elasticated insert on the back and breathable elasticated inserts on the sleeves, legs, and neck for comfort and performance. Engineered elasticated textile on the sleeves and legs allow for better mobility.

This suit features seamless titanium plates on the elbows, shoulders, and knees. The elbows and knees have composite protectors and 2.0 sliders as well.

The Mugello suit includes a back protector and hydration kit.

Inside of this suit is a Nanofeel liner that’s completely removable.

Please note: You must register the Dainese D-Air Racing Mugello Suit with Dainese. If the airbag is deployed, the suit must be sent to Dainese for inspection and to reset the airbag. Owners of the suit are responsible for any costs associated. Even if not deployed, the system will still have to be serviced by Dainese after a period of five years from the date of manufacturing shown on your D-Air product. Dainese recommends charging the battery every two months, even when not being used on the track.

Shoei GT-Air Wanderer Helmet: Construction

The GT-Air’s AIM shell construction and multi-piece EPS work together to redirect impact energy in the case of a crash. An Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) is built into the helmet to allow medical personnel to safely remove the cheek pads and helmet from an injured rider’s head.

This helmet features a fully retractable internal sun visor. A large, easily located switch on the left side of the helmet allows you to operate the visor on the fly. When retracted, the visor slides smoothly between the EPS liner and the outer shell.

The CNS-1 shield has a large field of vision and comes equipped with the Pinlock fog free system. A Pinlock lens is also included.

Shoei X-Fourteen Laverty Helmet: Aerodynamics

The X-Fourteen has several brand new features that make it even better than the X-Twelve. The shell shape has been redesigned to improve the aerodynamics of the helmet, including a brand new, patent-pending Rear Stabilizer. The Rear Stabilizer works to “maximize high-speed stability while reducing negative forces on the rider.” You will experience 50% less buffeting, 10% less drag, and a 3% lift reduction with the new X-Fourteen.

You can customize the aerodynamics by switching out the standard rear flaps with narrower ones (available separately). Shoei takes the customization a step further by incorporating an innovative five-stage rotating dial that allows you to fine-tune the shield and base plate.

Shoei X-Fourteen Laverty Helmet: Ventilation

The X-Fourteen’s ventilation system has received several upgrades. Now the cheek pads have a cooling “tube” that allows fresh air to enter the helmet, cooling the rider’s cheek area. Allowing cool air to enter the helmet isn’t enough, though. The side air outlets of the helmet have been re-positioned to better allow hot, moist air to leave the helmet. Overall, the X-Fourteen has six air intakes and six exhaust outlets.

A few changes have been made to the face shield and shield locking mechanism. First, the CWR-F Race Shield (equipped with Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system) has innovative new ribs on the edges to help eliminate bending. The X-Fourteen now has a double shield locking mechanism, designed to prevent unwanted shield openings while riding. The QR-E Base Plate System on this helmet not only makes changing shields easy, but also blocks out unwanted water and wind when closed.

The X-Fourteen’s 6-layer AIM+ shell construction and multi-layer EPS work together to redirect impact energy in the case of a crash.
